Kai's homestay is an absolutely magical place, and the pictures don't do it justice! Came for one night, stayed for 4! Each bamboo hut, perched on a small hill, faces directly onto the sea and the nearby island. In the mornings the sunrise is breathtaking. Kai is a wonderful host, friendly, kind and fun. He offered to take me to the nearby waterfalls and it was one of the best days of my trip to Vietnam so far. I can't recommend this place highly enough - if you want a special and unique experience, absolutely come here. And Kai, I hope to see you again my friend!

Simpele kleine hutjes met een fantastisch uitzicht. Wakker worden met zonsopgang vanuit je bed. Wat wil een mens nog meer? Het is basic en authentiek, wie daarvan houdt moet hier zeker naar toe gaan. De keuken mag gebruikt worden. Scooter verhuur. Banana Sea Homestay heeft een fijne vibe. Kai, de eigenaar, is een prettig en open persoon. Dankjewel Kai dat je me meegenomen hebt naar de lagune en het vissersdorp Xuan Hai. Heb er enorm van genoten, zo ook van de gesprekken met jou en genoten van je homestay.

If you are going to Bai Xep this is without doubt the place to stay! It is an absolutely brilliant location, a 30 second walk to a stunning beach and great restaurants with a beautiful sea view. The huts are beautiful as well with everything you could need, let alone the most amazing sunrise view. But most of all the owner, Kai, is the best host anyone could ask for. He is so friendly, helpful, fun and genuine. He cooked us a lot of amazing food, showed us places to go, looked after us so well, and was just a great person to hang out with. I cannot thank him enough - he made our stay at Banana Sea Homestay wonderful. You must come to here.
